Every year people of all ages die from environmentally induced cancers - many of which can be prevented through awareness and education.
Lung cancer kills more people than any other cancer out there.
And, non-smokers get lung cancer, too.
Just as with Breast Cancer, we feel that education, awareness, and research are the key ingredients to successfully putting a major dent in these types of cancers and in saving lives.
However, unlike breast cancer, many of the actual causes of environmentally induced cancers are known - which means we have the possible ability to stop them before they start.
Listed here are links to the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), other agencies, organizations, and companies who are raising awareness and educating the public on the many causes of various cancers that are environmentally induced.
People will live if awareness and education are brought to the forefront.
